BirdLife International (formerly the International Council for Bird Preservation) is an international conservation organization that work with community involvement to protect all the world's bird species and their habitats. This organization is a global conservation federation with an international network of over 100 partner organizations, including Indonesia Birds, RSPB, Gibraltar Ornithological & Natural History Society (GONHS), National Audubon Society, Bombay Natural History Society, Birds Australia, the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society of New Zealand, Nature Seychelles, Malaysian Nature Society, and BirdWatch Ireland.BirdLife International was founded in 1922 by American ornithologist, T. Gilbert Pearson and Jean Theodore Delacoure as the International Council for Bird preservation.
